Scholarships For Distance Learning – These international scholarships allow you to study in any country or elsewhere. Scholarships funded by international and regional organizations allow you to study in any country or choose multiple countries. Due to its nature, a distance learning scholarship allows you to pursue an international course in your home country or wherever you may be.
The Aga Khan Foundation awards a scholarship amount each year to undergraduate students who qualify from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies. The scholarship is awarded on a 50% grant:50% loan basis through a competitive application process once a year.

Scholarships For Distance Learning
The foundation offers applications for master’s degrees but is open to considering PhD programs. Applications for part-time work will not be considered.
Distance Learning Scholarships In Uk 2023
The Foundation received applications from the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar and Mozambique.
In France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada, applications are accepted mainly from the developing countries mentioned above, those interested in research related to development and others who do not have other means of financing their studies.
The foundation helps students with tuition and living expenses only. Travel costs are not included in the AKF scholarship. Half of the scholarship amount is taken as a loan, to be repaid with an annual service fee of 5%. The guarantor is required to sign the loan agreement. The repayment period is five years, starting six months after the end of the study period sponsored by the Aga Khan Foundation.
The Foundation only accepts applications from the above nationals who are eligible to reside in one of the countries where the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), the Aga Khan Education Service (AKES), or an Aga office is located. Khan Education Center (AKEB) processes the applications and approves the candidates.

The main criteria for selecting award winners are: l) academic excellence, 2) genuine financial need, 3) admission to a prestigious university or training program and 4) research significance in the AKDN region. Candidates are also evaluated on the presentation of a well-thought-out and integrated academic and career plan, their unique academic and academic interests and achievements, the ability to achieve their goals and how to succeed abroad. Applicants are expected to have some years of experience in their field.
The 2016-2017 international scholarship application process is now open. Application forms can be obtained from the AKF office or the Aga Khan Education Service/Council in the applicant’s country now.
The completed application must be returned to the institution that received the form. They should not be sent to Geneva. The deadline for submitting proposals is March 31, 2016, although in some countries the deadline may be earlier. Applicants should consult the Regional Office about the deadlines and requirements as they may vary from country to country.

Free College Scholarships
The OFID Scholarship Program supports promising young students from developing countries who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree in development, starting at an internationally recognized university/university.
Degree in development economics (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (deserts), or other related science and technology field.
The scholarship is worth $50,000 and covers tuition, monthly living expenses, accommodation, insurance, books, transportation, and travel expenses.
The money will be spread over a period of one year, until the completion of the second Master’s degree.
Tuition Support Scholarships
• Must have obtained or are about to complete an undergraduate and Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent.
• You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university for the next academic year beginning in August/September 2016, and must continue full-time during the second semester of the university.
• You must choose a research topic related to OFID’s main work, such as: development economics (poverty reduction, energy and sustainable development), environment (deserts), or other related technical and technical fields.

The Rotary Foundation provides scholarship support through the Rotary Foundation Global Grant Scholarship. The scholarship supports graduate level work or research for one to four years.

Rotary Foundation Global Grants can support scholarships with sustainable, high-impact results in one of six Rotary areas: Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Water and Sanitation, Maternal and Child Health , basic education and knowledge, and economic and social development.
The maximum budget of the international scholarship is $30,000 which can support the following: Passport/visa, Inoculation, travel expenses (as specified in the contract provided), school supplies, Tuition, Room and board, housing, language courses (but not if admission to university is based on improving language skills). Many personal and miscellaneous expenses are not covered by the scholarship.
Applicants cannot be (1) a Rotarian; (2) a director of any club, district, or institution of Rotary, or of Rotary International; .
Applicants must study outside their home country. They must provide proof of university acceptance at the time of application. Formal admission is allowed if the school requires financial support or completion of an undergraduate degree, but not if admission is dependent on improving language scores. Applicants for employment or volunteer experience, education, and professional programs must be aligned with one of the six areas of focus.
